Evan Reynolds (he/him) holds a PhD in English from the Program for Writers at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

His work examines the experience and social embeddedness of madness while simultaneously pushing the limits of lyrical expression.

His first collection, [abjections], engages with Julia Kristeva's theory of abjection in relation to schizophrenia, both the personal experience of schizophrenia and the social phenomenon of schizophrenia.

He teaches at Penn State.
